Holy Week Events

by Rev. Rick Pursley

I want to begin by first thanking each of you that attended, shared and invited people to watch “Jesus Revolution” which GF hosted at the LaBelle.  Friday and Saturday nights showings had good attendance and I have heard positive feed back from many of you about the movie itself.

Tammie and I want to thank you for your generous gifts to her in observance of “Pastors Wife” month.  Your love and support to our family is appreciated more than you know.

Now I want to share with you our events for Holy Week.  Friday, at 6 P.M. we will present Artisians of the Crucifixion.  This is a drama illustrating the observations of the events leading to the crucifixion of Christ through the eyes of the Tanner, Basket Maker, Black Smith, Carpenter and Stone Mason. This drama serves as a reminder of what Jesus endured on that Good Friday for each of us.

Easter Sunday we will have our regular worship service as we celebrate the empty tomb and the children will have their annual Easter Egg hunt immediately after our Sunday service.

Come and join us for these events.  Invite a friend or family member.  Let us give thanks for the sacrifice that Christ made for us and celebrate that the tomb is empty and that He is sitting at the right hand of the Father until the day He returns for His children!
