Please Hear This Church...

I want to squash some rumors which have started today... Please hear what I am saying.

Cindy and I are selling our home so that we can downsize.  A 3,300 square foot home, on one acre of property, has gotten too large for us to handle so we made the decision to put our home up for sale starting tomorrow.  With home interest rates very, very low - it is a sellers market and we are taking advantage of this opportunity.  If you want to pray for someone - pray for Erin and the boys because - when we do sell our home - we are moving in with them for a short time until we decide what we want to do about a home.  

Some pictures of our home hit Facebook this afternoon from our Realtor to spark some interest.  Needless to say - it also sparked some rumors that we are retiring and moving to Florida.  WHEN WE RETIRE WE WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW FROM THE PULPIT and we have no announcements to make.  

Please stop the rumors because it will hurt our church.  I plan on being your pastor for right now and in the future.

Let's enjoy Easter Sunday together and celebrate our Risen Savior.  That should be the most important item to tell someone this week.  I will be looking for your beautiful and smiling face on Sunday.  Praise the Lord.
