“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

If you are reading this, you have been given a great gift.  I am not talking about this devotion, (although I hope it speaks to you.). God has gave you a gift of another day.  An opportunity to have a better day than yesterday.  A day of new adventures, new experiences and a day to draw even closer in your relationship with God.

You may have went to sleep last night over come with weariness and exhaustion. Perhaps overwhelmed with burdens whether they be financial, physical, emotional, even spiritual. But today is a new day.  God gave this to you.  The one thing that did not change overnight as you slumbered is God’s never ending love for you.  He loves each one of us unconditionally and wants nothing but the best for each of us. 

Our morning prayer perhaps should be, “God thank you for another day and thank you for loving me, even on those days that I am not very lovable.
